A broadband connection such as Cable or DSL
can provide a continuous listening experience, however, a dialup connection may
have moderate to severe interruptions due to heavy internet traffic. It is
suggested that the whole sermon be downloaded for later play.
Download times will vary because of your connection speed, i.e., Cable/DSL
could be 1-3 min., while dialup could be 30-60 min. The size of the file
is typically 8 Megs.
You need to identify a folder in which to
store the
downloaded mp3 file so it can be located and played later. This can be done by
right clicking your mouse button and selecting "save target as",
"save link as", or something to that effect for your internet browser
and selecting a folder where you wish to have the file reside. The
downloaded file can then be played with the mp3 player program of your
choice.
In order to play the audio file with your
computer you need to have software capable of playing mp3 audio files.
Two popular players are Microsoft Windows Media Player and Real Player.
